Use in the evening after cleansing.
Apply a thin, even layer to clean, dry skin over the face, avoiding the eye area.
Follow with the rest of your nighttime skincare routine.
Use broad-spectrum sunscreen every morning. Because AlphaRet contains an AHA, Skinbetter warns that it may increase sun sensitivity during use and for one week afterward.
Zina Tip: If you're new to retinoids, start a few nights per week and gradually work toward nightly use as your skin adjusts. AlphaRet is formulated for nightly use, but your skin doesn't get bonus points for rushing.
