THE CONTROLLED RESET
NM · ER:YAG
RESURFACING, WITH CONTROL
Aerolase Era Elite is an ablative Er:YAG resurfacing laser designed to remove controlled layers of damaged surface skin.
Unlike a one-depth-fits-everyone approach, treatment intensity can be adjusted according to what we are correcting and how much recovery makes sense for you.
That can mean a lighter refresh, more intentional texture correction or a deeper resurfacing strategy.
More correction when you need it. More control while we do it.
THE ERA DIFFERENCE
Era Elite delivers 2940 nm Er:YAG energy using a 300-microsecond pulse.
The treatment depth can be adjusted, allowing us to tailor resurfacing around the concern instead of treating every face with the same intensity.
Depth is a tool. Not a competition.
THE RESURFACING SPECTRUM
The appropriate treatment depth depends on your concern, skin, recovery window and overall treatment plan.
THE ERA EDIT
Era becomes interesting when the concern lives at the surface — or has changed the texture of the skin itself.
Selected atrophic and textural acne scars may benefit from controlled resurfacing when deeper correction is appropriate.
SCARS · TEXTURE · REMODELINGResurfacing can be used when visible surface lines and crepey texture are part of the concern.
LINES · CREPEY SKIN · TEXTUREFor skin that looks or feels uneven, rough or in need of a more controlled surface renewal.
ROUGHNESS · PORES · SKIN QUALITYSelected visible sun damage, uneven tone and age-related surface changes may be addressed through resurfacing.
SUN DAMAGE · TONE · AGE SPOTSTHE ZINA RULE
More aggressive does not automatically mean more appropriate.
Skin tone, inflammation, pigment history, barrier health, previous procedures, season and your available recovery time all influence how we approach resurfacing.
THE POWER PAIRING
Sometimes surface renewal is only half of the conversation.
NM ND:YAG
Works deeper within the skin to support collagen, tone, pigment and vascular concerns according to the treatment plan.
EXPLORE NEO →NM ER:YAG
Resurfaces the epidermis with controlled ablation to address texture, visible damage and surface irregularities.
YOU ARE HEREREVERSE BY AEROLASE
Reverse combines Neo Elite and Era Elite in one comprehensive rejuvenation strategy.
Neo addresses deeper dermal concerns first. Era follows with controlled epidermal resurfacing.
The result is a treatment concept designed to think about skin quality from deeper support through surface renewal — instead of asking one device to do every job.
Deep support + surface correction. That’s the Reverse conversation.
WHEN WE THINK REVERSE
When visible surface aging overlaps with deeper skin-quality and tone concerns.
When uneven texture and discoloration need different treatment strategies.
When the goal is broader correction rather than treating one isolated surface concern.
THE ERA EXPERIENCE
Era is a resurfacing treatment. The recovery is part of the plan — not an inconvenient surprise.
We review your skin, treatment history, pigmentation risk, goals and recovery window.
Treatment depth and intensity are customized according to your skin and concern.
Redness, tightness, dryness and visible shedding can be part of the healing process.
Once skin has healed, we reassess before deciding whether more correction is needed.
YOUR RECOVERY ERA
Recovery varies with treatment depth, but resurfaced skin needs time, barrier support and sun protection.
Skin may feel warm, pink, tight or sensitive.
The surface may become dry, darker-looking or rough.
Treated surface skin gradually releases during the healing process.
As healing progresses, newly resurfaced skin becomes visible.
Recovery depends on treatment depth. Follow your personalized aftercare instructions.
AFTER ERA
Newly resurfaced skin does not need an aggressive skincare routine.
Resurfaced skin requires thoughtful sun protection while it heals.
GOOD TO KNOW
Era Elite is a 2940 nm Er:YAG laser designed for controlled ablative skin resurfacing. Treatment depth can be customized according to the concern and treatment plan.
Era may be considered for concerns such as acne scars, uneven texture, fine lines, visible sun damage, age spots and selected scars.
Recovery depends on treatment depth. Aerolase lists approximately 3–5 days of downtime for Era Elite, but deeper treatment may require a more involved healing period.
Era Elite is an Er:YAG ablative resurfacing platform. Treatment configuration and depth depend on the handpiece and protocol being used. We choose the approach according to your skin.
Reverse combines Aerolase Neo Elite and Era Elite in one rejuvenation strategy. Neo works deeper while Era provides controlled surface resurfacing.
Era may make sense when resurfacing is the primary goal. Reverse may be considered when the plan needs both deeper support and surface correction. We determine this after assessment.
Era can be incorporated into plans for selected acne scars and texture concerns. Scar type, depth, pigmentation risk, skin tone and healing response all matter.
